Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and TUH, which operates TUH Reader at learn.tuh.education (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
TUH Reader is an app for practising reading in Korean and English. It offers short daily questions, practice in telling the right answer from a tempting wrong option and explaining your choice, AI checking of short written answers, and flashcard review. The Korean course explains in English; the English course explains in Korean.
The Service has a free plan and a paid plan, TUH Pro. We may add, change or remove features.
2. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or legal guardian to buy a subscription. The Service is offered only in supported regions and may be unavailable where you are.
3. Your account
You can use the Service as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. Your TUH sign-in account can also be used with other TUH services.
4. AI features
The Service uses generative AI to check some of your written answers. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Results are learning feedback, not grades, certificates or professional advice. Please use Report a problem if something looks wrong. We set daily limits on AI checks: currently 5 a day on the free plan and 200 a day on Pro (fair use).
5. Free plan
The free plan costs nothing. It includes all questions, saving your progress, the daily set plus one extra round a day, and a limited number of AI checks a day, as shown on our Pricing page. We will never charge you without a purchase you make yourself.
6. Pro subscription
- Price. TUH Pro costs US$20 per month or US$200 per year. Prices include tax, such as VAT or sales tax. The final amount is shown before you pay.
- What Pro adds. Unlimited extra rounds and more AI checks a day (fair use), as shown on our Pricing page.
- Renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time — on the Me screen tap Manage subscription, or use the link in any Paddle email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro until then. Delete my account data does not cancel your subscription.
- Price changes. We will tell you before a price change. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Refunds. Ask within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy.
- Under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to the purchase.
Order processing. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights while using the Service;
- access the Service with bots, scrapers or other automated means, or overload it;
- get around usage limits (such as the daily limit on new questions), regional restrictions or security measures;
- use the AI checking for anything other than your own answers in the app;
- copy, resell or redistribute our questions or other content;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it;
- submit content that is unlawful or harmful, or that includes other people’s personal data.
We may limit or suspend access if you break these terms.
8. Content and licences
The Service, including its questions, explanations, audio, images and software, belongs to TUH or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning.
Text you write stays yours. You allow us to process it to provide the Service, including AI checking, and — if you turn on Save progress — to store it and use it to improve our questions, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use reports and feedback you send to improve the Service.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. New questions need an internet connection; while you are offline you can review only cards you have already seen. We may change or discontinue the Service. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will refund unused prepaid time.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee particular learning results or test scores.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TUH is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Ending use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page with a new date and tell you in the app before material changes take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
14. Your consumer rights
These terms do not take away any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
